TWINS BATS SILENT, FALL TO CONEJO CA. 4-3

The Twins bats fell silent last night in the NBC World Series opener as Conjo CA.
beat the Twins 4-3 in a game that ended early this morning. We managed only five
hits, Willie Uechi had two of those five. Ben Graham took the loss while striking
out eight in 5 2/3 innings. As the Twins go over into the losers bracket, we will
play the San Diego Stars Thursday afternoon at 1:00PM at Lawrence Dumont Stadium.
It is the Wichita Sports Commission buyout. Call them at 265-6236 for ticket pick-up
